Epic Games has released the fifth and final core Aquaman challenge in Fortnite, and it can nab you an incredible item. This latest one asks you to claim your Trident at Coral Cove to earn a Trident of your own, but it also ties into the broader challenge to unlock Aquaman skins. If you’re a big Aquaman fan, you’ll definitely want to do this. Provided you own the Season 3 Battle Pass, you can now take on this challenge to earn some new rewards–here’s a guide on where Coral Cove is located and how to find the Trident once you get there. Keep in mind that there is still one more challenge you can complete if you’ve already finished the five required for his costume. You won’t want to miss it.
Where Is Coral Cove?
Coral Cove is located in the northwest section of the map–it’s a named landmark just northwest of Sweaty Sands and southwest of the large whirlpool. The Trident that you need to acquire can be found on a rock in the middle of the water in this area–it’s just north of a large boat, and southeast of a small island. You can see the Trident’s exact location on the map below.
How Do You Claim The Trident?
Claiming the Trident is as simple as holding your Use button or key on it (although it does take a fairly long time to pick up, so beware any hostile players who are hunting those doing challenges). Given that the rock is right in the middle of the water, you should be able to see it as you’re falling from the Battle Bus. Simply land on it and claim it before you get killed to complete the challenge.
What’s The Reward For Completing The Challenge?
Completing this challenge unlocks Åquaman’s Trident itself as a new harvesting tool option for you. Perhaps more importantly, it’s also one step in unlocking the Aquaman skin, as you need to complete all five of the challenges to do so. With this being the fifth challenge, both the Aquaman skin and the alternate version (which requires completing a separate challenge–diving at Gorgeous Gorge while wearing the Aquaman skin) are now unlockable.
