The specific date and time suggest that this could be when this year’s Call of Duty game could be revealed. Charlie Intel mentions in a follow-up tweet that they have been told to send a text to a number on Monday in order to receive a code that will unlock the crate. This tactic of sending out a cryptic press kit to outlets is becoming something of a strategy for Activision – most recently the publisher sent members of the press a puzzle from “Your Favorite Bandicoot” to tease Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time.
